What We Care About
Backpack Rental x Environment
01
Backpacks are usually used.
once
Carnival takes place globally, but unlike bodywear, that can be worn from for different fetes, or even the beach, backpacks are single use. If you don't plan to hang your backpack up on the wall, you might just end up throwing it away or keeping it in your closet.
02
Backpacks are expensive
On average, backpacks despite their single use nature, come at a hefty fee. Backpacks can cost between 200-700 USD on average, with some backpacks costing ober 1000 USD!
03
Backpacks are heavy
Some backpacks are created as art installments and not for the comfort of the masquerader. Under the hot sun, a frontline backpack can start to weigh you down, one of the many reasons masqueraders choose to discard their backpacks in the middle of the road.
04
We created the solution!
As leaders in the Sustainable Carnival movement, we came up with a solution to these problems- backpack rental! You can rent a backpack and get the frontline look for 1/4th of the price, and after Carnival, the backpacks are broken down, cleaned and redesigned for future carnivals
